Nexus One

Its been two weeks now since i got my nexus one phone and i have been having such a cool experience.
Just before i got it (long story i shall tell another day) i was telling my friend that my next phone has to have wi-fi; we were at this meeting room which had wireless internet and i found it a hussle to start taking out my laptop booting and all. I continued "and the phone shall be really smart one that shall give me the conveniences of my laptop"my friend was patient listening to me dream on.

At my office i joke with colleagues that when someone asks a question for which you have no answer you are supposed to respond by saying "i shall google it". Though we say it as a joke i have seen the reality of it on my nexus one.
I've got all my contacts synchronized with my gmail contacts,i love to chat and i can always check on who is available and get chatting even when am out of the office; i don't have to get into an internet cafe when am away from the office just to keep in touch with friends. I've redirected mail from my other accounts into my gmail so i get to see all my mail in one place while maintaining various identities.
The 5 mega-pixel camera makes it easy to capture memorable moments and send via mail or even better tag, geo tag and share on picasa.

The interesting thing is that from the official nexus one site am told the phone is not available in my region. The good news is that despite this am able to perform normal and even what i consider extraordinary functions that do not entirely rely on my network operator.
Am talking about google maps, voice search and even the experimental google goggles.
I cannot forget to mention my favorite voice search, voice dialer and the very best is the capability of voice transcription for messages.
